The Ayrshire Collie Club was established in 1958, in the "Land 'o' Burns", after the Ayrshire Agricultural Society decided to drop the dog section of their show. We celebrated our Ruby Anniversary in 1998 and at present we have over 200 members.

The aim of the club is to promote responsible dog ownership and supports all related activities within the showing, breeding and rearing of Rough Collies in line with the Kennel Club published Breed Standard and Guidelines.

The club organises events each year for both members and Rough Collie enthusiasts alike. These include Spring & Summer Open Shows, an Autumn Championship show as well as Seminars and other fund raising events.

New Members are always welcome and annual membership is currently Single - £2.50 and Joint - £3.00
